Investments of the mobile provider VimpelCom amounted to $578.3m last year, including $509.1m in buying assets and equipment and $69.2m in purchasing other companies, the company reported. Accounts payable amounted to $80.241m at the end of 2002, which was $37.561m more than at the end of 2001. ARPU (average revenue per user) was $18.3 per month, a 30.2 percent drop compared to $26.2 in 2001. MOU (minutes of use) was 92.3 minutes a month per user, a 12.3 percent decrease from 105.3 minutes in 2001. SAC (subscriber acquisition cost) was $25.7, which was 31.6 percent lower than in 2001 ($37.6).
