The Norwegian divers ship Mayo continues to stay at the wreck site of the Russian submarine Kursk, which was recently lifted from the bed of the Barents Sea. Mammoet specialists are preparing to lower manned submersibles to examine the part of the bottom where the submarine rested, RIA Novosti was told at Russia's Northern Fleet. Norwegian specialists are to video-film once more the surface of the bed and adjoining territory. This is necessary to draw up a detailed map of fragments of the submarine that remained under the water. The wreck site is still being guarded by the Northern Fleet, but the off-limits area has been greatly narrowed down.
