The US administration in Iraq has drawn up a draft Constitution and determined the composition of a provisional government, reports the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas.
Citing informed sources, the newspaper says in its Tuesday issue that the composition of the future government and its head "will be a surprise" and that none of the Iraqi opposition leaders whose names were often mentioned recently would become members of the cabinet. Al-Qabas says also that the important posts in the future government will go to representatives of the Shiite-run Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution.
According to the newspaper's information, the future Governor of Central Iraq, ex-US Ambassador to Yemen Barbara Bodine and 15 aides are visiting Umm-Qasr on Tuesday to see the developments with their own eyes.
