Russian President will visit Great Britain in December, British Ambassador to Russia Sir Roderick Lyne said. The timeframe, agenda and topics to be discussed during the forthcoming visit are being agreed through diplomatic channels, the Ambassador noted. This will be the ninth meeting of the Russian and British leaders within the two years, the Ambassador told a news conference in Moscow, adding that this was an unprecedented number of encounters for such a short period of time. The Ambassador expects that the Russian and British leaders will discuss the fight against international terrorism, Russia-NATO rapprochement and other issues. The British Prime Minister is personally interested in the development of economic relations with Russia, sir Lyne said. Blair would undoubtedly like to discuss these issues with Vladimir Putin and some British businessmen, the Ambassador noted.
