Russian Electrical Systems to Be Audited

The Russian Auditing Chamber will audit the commercial activity of The Russian Electrical Systems and the Ministry of Railways, the auditing being scheduled throughout the year, announced today the Chamber's Chief Auditor Mikhail Beskhmelnitsyn. Four of The Electrical Systems' daughter companies - in Chita, Belgorod, Kuban, and Sverdlovsk - will be audited, as well as the assets of The Electrical Sustems itself, the purpose of the auditing being to make the company's financial activities clear to investors and suggest alternatives to introducing competition into this heavily monopolised sector.
