Nestor Kirchner sent a personal letter to Vladimir Putin.
“It deeply shocks how the lives of innocent people are frustrated by terrorist acts that earn the strongest condemn of the international community”, reads a personal letter that the Argentine President Nestor Kirchner sent to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, after the assassination of the Chechen leader, Akhmad Kadyrov.
The letter, delivered by the Argentine Foreign Ministry on May 10, expresses the solidarity of the Argentine Government with the Russian people and the victims of Grozny's massacre.
The visit of Russian FM Igor Ivanov to Buenos Aires in December 2003 contributed to strengthen the ties of both nations.
