About 60% of Americans welcome Saddam Hussein's execution in case he will be convicted of all war crimes.
Such is the result of a public opinion poll conducted by TNS Intersearch requested by ABC and "The Washington Post".
506 random people participated in the poll (human error-5%). 32% of US citizens consider life imprisonment to be most suitable punishment for Saddam. Another 8% remain uncertain about possible punishment for Saddam (perhaps, they do not have a clue who Saddam is in the first place).
When asked about what court should try Saddam Hussein, 52% of Americans replied that he should be tried by tribunal, created by the UN.
Only 39% consider a possibility of Saddam's trial under Iraq's tribunal.
2% were anxious to see ex Iraqi leader to be tried in American court.
