Jobs for disabled people will be created at operating enterprises in Chechnya, said Labour Minister Magomed Vakhayev, speaking at a cabinet meeting of that federal republic in the North Caucasus.
According to the minister, the government will set appropriate quotas for the plants. This is due to the fact that over the years of the armed conflict special enterprises in Chechnya where disabled people could earn a living were destroyed or ceased to exist.
At present there are 31,900 disabled in Chechnya, with 6,900 of them children.
As the minister noted, over the past three years more than 100 Oka baby cars have been given free to the disabled persons living in Chechnya.
