IKEA ready to invest in Rostov region - 28 March, 2003

IKEA has declared it is ready to invest $130m in the construction of a store in the Rostov region. A corresponding agreement has been achieved at a meeting of Rostov regional deputy governor Ivan Stanislavov and representatives of IKEA MOS.

The deputy governor stressed that regional authorities were interested in the construction of an IKEA store and were ready to provide assistance to the implementation of this project.

IKEA is planning to open two new stores in Russia every year.
