Doug Jones: Most people here do support George Bush

I just finished reading Mr. Bancroft-Hinchey's article entitled "Victory for Iraq" on PRAVDA.RU. Although I respect the right he has to his opinion, I believe his characterization of the U.S. campaign in Iraq as murderous and disastrous to be laughable. I am often comforted by the prevailing anti-American sentiment throughout the world. It does my heart good to know that a day of reckoning is that light at the end of the tunnel. The United States has done more for this planet than any ten nations combined. Anti-Americanism seems to be a popular subject with PRAVDA.RU. Do you feel that this will benefit the world in some way? Do you American haters feel that the U.S. will continue to endure these attacks be it intellectual or actual?
 
On second thought, Mr. Bancroft-Hinchey is right. We have been defeated in Iraq. What we should have done is turn that region of the world into a parking lot around 1979. Problem solved in my opinion. I'm not an academic man and certainly lack the literary elegance of a professional journalist, but you can believe that most people in the U.S. are sick and tired of the daily assaults on our country. Fact is, most people here do support George Bush despite undermining efforts by the liberal media. I for one can't wait until November.
