True Mark of the Beast

The end was near when people realized the Fuehrer's promise of peace and prosperity was no longer believable. It was the same for Communist Russia. Solzhenitsyn said, "The Soviet Union was the Russian people held hostage by the Communists". Lenin and Stalin mesmerized almost everyone. Not once but twice the people of America voted for a man who promised the same. Obama blamed his predecessor but followed Bush's same directed path. The mark of the beast is not a tattoo like symbol, but a character easily seen today.

In 1927 Russian Bishop Ignaty Bryanchaninov said, "Whoever does not obtain the kingdom of God within oneself will not recognize the Antichrist and will inevitably, become his follower". Those who do not follow Christ already will be easily seduced by evil and follow it. They will do as the Beast commands and attack the Church of Christ. It effectively pours out upon the world the spirit of lying, impiety, blasphemy and impurity. Turning mankind into animals, it mocks God and shrieks a maniacal laughter as it destroys those destined to be true sons and daughters of God in paradise.

Who are its' followers? Do they have a visible tattoo saying anti-Christ or 666? Of course not. That would be too easy to avoid. 666 just meant 3 times almost every 6oo years a big anti-Christ would come. Muhammad in 624, Genghis Khan in 1235 and Karl Marx in the 1800's all attacked Christendom. Marx was more sinister and his ideology created the worse chaos to the present day as even Obama prefers to make the Soviet mistake.

They follow leaders like Obama blindly without question. Many times they are violent. They are violent against the good and innocent. Especially against the Orthodox Church which has not changed and holds true to ancient Christian tradition.  Fasting is a huge part of the Orthodox faith just as Christ fasted. There was no Protestant reformation or Vatican II. Our churches are not theaters of entertainment.

In early May, President Putin "signed a law that prohibits using of bad language in literature and art, in mass media products, at concerts, theatre performances and entertainment events as well as films in cinemas." Some Russians, especially the young, do not like it but most do. Just like when Russians protested Marilyn Manson. Some like it most don't.

The law Putin signed is considered dictatorial by Americans. Yet, their constitution was originally meant for a different society. "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people" said John Adams. Totally unacceptable by most Americans today which is why they voted for Obama. Americans still love freedom. The Freedom of Evil in America, where evil legally has many freedoms that have allowed it to grow in the US as observed by Alexander Solzhenitsyn. "The corrosion of evil" he saw in the 70's has only worsened in the West and now consumes most of the world.

Ukraine Deal with the Devil: The Chevron Deal.  In early November 2013 president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich signed a death deal with Chevron for shale exploration in his country. Later that month, Yanukovich rejected the EU trade agreement and accepted Russian president Putin's offer instead. Had they been allowed to accept it Kiev would be paying gas for half price and Russia would be buying billions of government bonds that would help the Ukraine economy. Yanukovich signed his death warrant on that Chevron contract.

Yanukovich acceptance of Russia's offer was seen as a betrayal to the EU and US. Washington's Chicago politics made him an offer he could not refuse and now the people of the Ukraine are paying for it. Obama, Biden, Kerry, Nuland, McCain and others can take their greed to the grave and wait for Judgment Day. President Putin's successful economic record in Russia, US propaganda notwithstanding, is known to the world as the BRICS and Russia become more powerful overcoming western tyranny and bringing peace through mutual economic benefits rather than deals backed by military intervention.

Unfortunately, the Beast is currently active in Ukraine where priests are assaulted or killed. The puppet government backed by Obama wants genocide in SE Ukraine for shale gas exploration. Already, fracking has started in Slavyansk. The Beast yells, "Kill Everyone! Start Fracking!" Money is power and it hopes to feed its children with it while stopping Russian expansion of cheaper gas to Europe. Its Father of lies has a powerful propaganda machine in the US. The Beast does not want people to know the truth about Russia. Why?

Because where Russia goes Christ will be there also. Christ himself conquered the Red Dragon in Russia and now the Russian government protects the faith. Putin defends it. More people were killed under Communist Russia than the first 300 years of Christianity. The Murder of the Royal Family began the onslaught on every Christian family that continues to this day. Fr. Loshako wrote, "Many churches have either been desecrated and ruined by the Red Army or sealed by the Soviet authorities. Executions of clergy are often accompanied by the cruelest of tortures. School prayers have been banned. Holy icons have been removed from all public buildings."

The people of Russia prayed for deliverance and they were saved. In 1988, the 1000th Anniversary of Christianity in Russia, hundreds of churches and famous monasteries were reopened. The Faith survived and Communism went down to defeat! From 1994-2000, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior was rebuilt in Moscow. In 2010, "A total of 23,000 Orthodox churches have been rebuilt in Russia in the past 20 years. Nothing of the kind has happened in any country at any time in history. The world should see the Orthodox Russia's great feat of rebuilding all that was destroyed" said Patriarch Kirill.

Satan and all his power could not destroy Christianity in Russia. Yes, Christ has Risen and evil godless men could not destroy His Church. The Church has been rebuilt in Russia. Praise God! The Beast can only recoil at the site of Russia because it was defeated there. The "Mark of the Beast", or rather the character of those following it can clearly be observed by those with Russophobia or hatred of the Church. What is the remedy?

Water, blood and fire to purify the world. The world was first purged from its evil during the great flood in Noah's day. Later, blood purified it from the sacrifice of God's only Son, Jesus Christ and through martyrs. Most Christians think the fire to come will be a nuclear war or fire from Heaven that will burn us all. Rather, it will be a fire, a Holy Fire from Heaven that will purify mankind and give peace to the world. Christians in Russia have survived Hell's fury from communism. The blood that once soaked the land was the seed for Russia's new destiny. The evil that spread from Russia in 1917 to the West will be destroyed by Russia's renewed faith that will heal the world.
