еhe first meeting of the Russian-Chinese group on anti-terrorism will be held in Beijing on November 28-30. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Anatoly Safonov arrived in China to participate in the meeting. The sides will discuss the situation in the world in the light of the struggle against international terrorism and the main trends of Russian-Chinese interaction in this sphere, Zhang Qiyue, a spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday. Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will participate in the meeting. The participants in the consultations will consider the developments of the anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan, will discuss coordination of the two countries' efforts on countering international terrorism on bilateral and multilateral levels and will exchange opinions on the foundation of an anti-terrorist institution of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation with the headquarters in Bishkek. Anatoly Safonov will hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Tan Jiaxuan.
