Happy time for Nicole

Nicole Kidman, who is expected to wed Keith Urban this weekend, said she planned a "boring" 39th birthday with family Tuesday.

Kidman emerged from a luxurious harborside mansion to greet about 20 reporters and photographers who had brought flowers and sang "Happy Birthday" to her over the intercom.

"Thank you for the flowers and the singing," she said, before posing for photographs. "It's nice to be home."

Asked how she planned to spend her birthday, Kidman replied: "Not much, dinner at home with mum - boring."

Kidman said she was embarrassed by all the attention, reports Mercury News.

According to San Francisco Chronicle , Nicole Kidman has blasted reports she is rushing into marriage with country star Keith Urban because they are expecting a baby.

The actress is expected to exchange vows with Urban at Sydney's Mary MacKillop chapel on Sunday, before jetting off to honeymoon in Fiji.

The couple confirmed in a recent statement: "We are very happy to be back in Australia. We have come home to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends."

However, Catholic Kidman denies the quick nuptials have anything to do with pregnancy.

Her spokeswoman Catherine Olim tells the New York Daily News, "This is a rumor that comes around every month. It has for past year or two.

"Believe me on this one. She is religious, and that would never do."

Kidman and country music star Urban are expected to be married on Sunday, possibly at a sandstone church that overlooks the Pacific Ocean at Manly.

It's believed long-time Kidman family friend and confidant the Rev Father Paul Coleman will conduct the ceremony.

While Kidman has been based at the home she bought with former husband Tom Cruise, Urban is believed to be staying at the Intercontinental Hotel as they maintain the tradition of spending the last few days apart before their union.

Guests are tipped to include Hollywood actors Naomi Watts, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman, as well as director Baz Luhrmann.

Kidman's adopted children from her marriage to Cruise -- Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11 -- are expected to arrive in Sydney this week.

Urban's family will arrive from Queensland tomorrow. It will be his first marriage, Melbourne Herald Sun.
