ARMED FORCES CUTS TO BE DISCUSSED TODAY

Most important issues of Russia’s military development are to be considered today at the meeting of the Security Council chaired by President Vladimir Putin. In particular, the cuts of armed forces and other military structures are to be discussed, Security Council Secretary Sergei Ivanov says as reported by Interfax. The head of state earlier ordered all the agencies concerned to prepare their proposal on military reform with regard to corrections of the state policy towards the military.
