It’s official:Mobile phones scare off ghosts

According to the latest statistics on sightings of ghosts in the United Kingdom, it becomes apparent that public enemy number one for ghouls is the mobile phone.

Some experts claim that the electrical energy which produces some paranormal events could be interfered with by cellular phone calls and transmission of data by e-mail.

Tony Cornell, of the Centre for Psychic research, said that since the mobile phone was introduced 15 years ago, reports of sightings have decreased substantially. In an interview with the Sunday Express newspaper, he stated “Ghost sightings have remained consistent for centuries. Until three years ago, we would receive reports of two new ghosts every week”.

He complained that now, the centre receives none. Meanwhile, in Singapore, the Singapore Paranormal Investigators have been flooded with calls from volunteers who want to be ghost-busters. The investigators are searching for people with “special skills” to find the ghosts.

Either the British investigators have lost their knack, or the ghosts have changed their haunt.
