Yesterday evening, a cargo plane Ilyushin Il-76 operated by Sibirskie airlines made an emergency landing in the airport of Barnaul (the Altai territory, South Siberia). This information was disclosed by an operative officer on-duty from the Krasnoyarsk-based Siberian Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergencies. The plane hit a radar with its landing gear, when taking off from the Barnaul airfield. The crew decided to burn off the fuel and land on the same airfield. After more than two hours, the plane landed safely. Nobody was hurt. An emergency commission has started its investigation of the accident.
