130 Furniture Companies From Different Countries Come To Moscow To Art Furniture Show

One hundred and thirty furniture manufacturers from different countries came to Moscow to participate in the international furniture show called Art Furniture. The Union of Forest Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia and the Association of Russian Furniture and Wood Processing Companies organized the show. At the opening ceremony, Head of the Department of Forestry and Industrial Sector of the Ministry of Industry, Science, and Technology Boris Bolshakov said, "in Russia, there exists a demand for elite art furniture, which emphasizes individuality and internal world of a person, and artists capable of creating such furniture." The show guests will have a chance to enjoy rare design, various furniture-related materials, and "elements of tomorrow's interior." Within the framework of the show, the Moscow Union of Designers will hold the Art Furniture 2001 contest.
