To Whom It May Concern,
I just read the article by Michael Berglin regarding Linda Ronstadt being removed from a Las Vegas casino. Mr Berglin does not seem to understand the situation.
This is not about free speach or any perceived pro Bush leanings the casino might have.
Linda Ronstadt was being paid to do a specific job. People paid to see her perform, not espouse political retoric.
I myself walked out of a movie once because the first fifteen minutes of the move was nothing but advertisements. I paid to see a movie, not advertisements. I got up and left and demanded the manager refund my money. I got my money back. Many of the paying customers at Linda Ronstadt's concert did the same.
Thank you,
Robert Plummer
