I cannot begin to tell you how many of the average Americans share in your grief and your pain.
I know there are no words that can help start your healing process. There are no words that can comfort you.
Except, that is, we share your pain and your horror.
Your souls cry out in utter disbelief – a cry that not only comes from your hearts, but a cry that comes from humanity at large.
Your prays are for your children, spoken in broken voices trembling with anguish – prayers that are echoed by all who are equally stunned.
Your hearts cry out for vengeance – a vengeance that is being demanded in all languages of the world.
Please, try to rest now – find shelter and warmth in the families and communities that surround you. Now is the time for reconciliation within you.
Know that you are not alone, nor weep alone.
