Tim Martin: Americans do not want to rule the world

You need to understand that most Americans believe that "secret police" monitor and scrutinize everything that you publish.  Most believe that your media are controlled by your government in order to brainwash the masses.  Keep in mind that it was an American news corporation that exposed the abuses that were committed by American troops.  I would like to write more, but I am beginning to believe that you would be arrested and put in prison if you put this online: Americans hate terrorism, we hate the mistreatment of prisoners by our servicemen, we hate the fact that Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons against his own people, we hate the fact that our government played political games in Southeast Asia and then abandoned thousands of them to the killing fields, many were angry that after WW2 we didn't take general Patton's advise to keep marching into the USSR to free the Russian people from Stalin. I can go on and on, it is very easy, but I believe that you will never print this.  Most Americans, believe in one common thing, that a government created by the people, for the people should not perish. You need to understand who WE really are.

I don't know anything about the mafia or the former KGB and really I don't know much about Russia.  I know what I have read and seen on TV.   But what I do know is that: Americans do not want to rule the world, Russian parents love their children as much and Americans love theirs,  Americans believe in a government by the people and for the people, the world will be better as we get along, cooperate and communicate and last of all
