Jordan's King Abdullah II was set to arrive in Helsinki on Wednesday for talks on the Middle East crisis.
The king was scheduled to meet with Finnish President Tarja Halonen, whose country currently holds the rotating European Union presidency.
Jordan's official news agency Petra reported that Abdullah would be accompanied by Queen Rania, the AP reports.
In Jordan on Tuesday, the monarch reiterated his condemnation of the "Israeli aggression" and pressed for an end to "these savage acts which are committed against the Lebanese children, women and old men."
