Gas explosion in Florida building exposes 40 to low levels of radiation
About 40 workers were exposed to a small amount of &to=http://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/377/12954_radiation.html' target=_blank>adiationr Monday when a container exploded at a defense contractor's facility, releasing krypton &to=http://english.pravda.ru/main/18/88/354/16712_gas.html' target=_blank>gas, company and fire officials said.
The exposure level was so low that most employees at Unison Industries did not need to be decontaminated, said Jacksonville Fire-Rescue spokesman Tom Francis said. About 30 firefighters and other rescue personnel were tested for exposure and came back clean, he said.
