Chirac urges OECD to expand to let Russia
French President &to=http://english.pravda.ru/politics/2002/06/12/30185.html' target=_blank>Jacques Chirac urged the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on Friday to include Russia and emerging nations as members, his office said.
Chirac spoke during a meeting with Angel Gurria of Mexico, the OECD's incoming secretary-general, whom he congratulated on his appointment to run the club of 30 mainly industrialized nations.
