The world's largest passenger jet touched down in Bogota as part of a series of test flights around Colombia over the next several days. Capable of carrying some 500 passengers, the Airbus 380 took off Tuesday from Toulouse in France and arrived in the Colombian capital that afternoon.
However instead of flying its full passenger load, the behemoth plane carried just a small crew and technicians to oversee the tests.
The Airbus has a wingspan of 260 feet and stands nearly eight stories high, UPI reports. V.Y.
