Chinese President Hu Jintao will arrive in Russia on a state visit on May 26. According to the Russian government press service, Hu will be in Russia from May 26 through May 28 by invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Negotiations are planned between Hu and Putin. Meetings between Hu and Russian government leaders and members of the Federal Council are also planned. On May 29 Hu will take part in the Moscow summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and then he will depart for St. Petersburg to participate in the international summit and tri-centennial celebrations in the Northern capital of Russia.
