Russian Agriculture Minister To Visit Italy

Alexei Gordeyev, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Agriculture begins his working trip to Italy on November 15. He is due to take part in an agricultural equipment exhibition in Bologna which opens on November 16. The Russian Agriculture Minister is supposed to meet his Italian colleague Giovanni Alemanno at the exhibition. They are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation projects in the sphere of agriculture. Gordeyev plans to meet the executives of FIAT to discuss bilateral cooperation in agricultural machinery production, in particular, the creation of a joint enterprise in Ryazan (Central Russia) to produce tractors and combines. A group of Italian businessmen visited the Ryazan Region in late September, to see the production capabilities of a number of factories.
