Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko has disproved allegations that coolness is characteristic of current relations between Russia and Belarus. The Belarussian leader said this at a Kremlin meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin Wednesday. Talk about coolness in our relations is both in Russia and Belarus, said President Lukashenko. This is absolutely not true, said Lukashenko. According to him, "it would be nonsense" to do something against the positive development of relations with Russia. "This contradicts my convictions. Our policy towards Russia is the main priority. My whole political life has been invested in this," pointed out Lukashenko. In his opinion, "the Russians and Belarussians are bound by indissoluble ties."
