Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov To Visit Mongolia

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov will visit Mongolia in June 2002, Vice Premier, Russian Minister of Agriculture Aleksei Gordeyev said at the opening the 9th meeting of the Russian-Mongolian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in the House of Government on Wednesday. The Russian-Mongolian intergovernmental commission is an effective body coordinating the two country's cooperation on the interstate level taking into account the new market relations developing in Russia and Mongolia, Gordeyev said. The Vice Premier also pointed out the success achieved during the previous meetings of the commission. The agreement on the level of the two country's presidents is the main trend in the commission's work, the minister stressed. At the same time, "we are guided by all the decisions taken on the economic and political levels," he said.
