The group is expected to comprise high-ranking representatives of foreign ministries, defence ministries and intelligence services of the two countries. The newspaper indicates that the British special services highly value cooperation with their Russian counterparts in combating terrorism. "The British special service staffers are impressed by the serious attitude of their Russian colleagues to this cooperation," a source in London told the Daily Telegraph. According to the source, representatives of the two countries' special services maintain contacts with each other in the atmosphere of "mutual trust" and in some cases are engaged in practical collaboration.
