Moscow Calling Israel And Palestine To Show Restraint

Moscow is again calling Israel and Palestine to show restraint and try to channel the conflict into political settlement. Violence, which cannot be justified, must be curbed and the vicious circle of armed retaliations to terror acts, which in their turn trigger more terrorist attacks, must be broken, experts of Russian power structures told journalists. This is Russia's stance on the Mideastern developments, they said. The situation in the Middle East aggravated dramatically over the week-end. In the early hours of Sunday, terrorist explosions thundered in a few neighbourhoods of Jerusalem killing dozens of peaceful residents. Israel reciprocated with missile strikes on Palestinian cities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which also led to civilian casualties.
