Vladimir Putin has announced that military servicemen should receive higher wages than civil servants. While appearing on live television, the president said that servicemen should receive "25-30%" more than state servants. The head of state reminded viewers that from January 1st that bonus pay for service in special conditions would be raised by an extra 20% (currently it's 50% and will be 70%). Moreover, so-called "commander" wages, which concern the middle chain of command, will be increased by 10-15%.
