Detained Chechen warlords have to refresh their memories

Salman Raduyev and Turpal Ali Atgheriyev have started to familiarize themselves with the materials of criminal cases filed against them. It is for the first time that criminal cases filed against the Chechen rebels’ first-echelon field commanders are being handed over to court, officials at the Presidential Aide Sergei Yastrzhembski’s office are quoted by the Interfax news agency as saying. Messrs. Raduyev and Atgheriyev were earlier detained in Chechnya as a result of special raids conducted by federal forces.
