Putin’s anniversary

A year ago, March 26, 2000 presidential elections took place in Russia. Vladimir Putin won. Actually, this was just a conventional date: Putin has been fulfilling the President’s duties since 1999, December 31. What has been done during this period of time? Putin’s enemies lay the blame on him that there are no any drastic changes in Russia. But the President considers that there is no need of such changes. During this year he repeated this statement many times. The state is tired of the revolutionary changes. According to one of the persons, questioned by PRAVDA.RU journalist in the street, a routine work is required to make the country rich and happy.
