On Friday the State Duma (the lower chamber of parliament) approved the Labour Code of the Russian Federation in its third, final reading. According to the Labour Code, workers are entitled to set up trade unions and to enter them for defending their rights, freedoms and legitimate interests. As for the rights and duties of an employer, he, in particular, has the right to call workers to disciplinary or material account.
