Kislovodsk casualties' number has grown

The number of casualties of the terrorist act, committed Wednesday in the suburban train near Kislovodsk in the South of Russia has grown from 37 to 55. According to Sergey Vardosanidze, Stavropol region Minister of Health, who told RIA Novosti about it early Thursday, 18 more people asked for medical assistance during the last 24 hours.

According to him, a lot of the wounded and shell-shocked "did not immediately realise what happened." According to the doctors, out of the 55 hospitalised, six are in a grave condition, three more are in an extremely grave condition.

A suburban train bound for the nearby town of Mineralnye Vody, was blown up not far from Kislovodsk. Terrorists had put two remote control land mines between the rails. As a result of the terrorist act, four people were killed: a 14-year old teenager, an 18-year old girl and two young people aged 21 and 22.
