Two Israelis Killed, Twenty Wounded In Hadera Act Of Terrorism

Two Israeli citizens have been killed and twenty wounded Sunday afternoon as two terrorists machine-gunned pedestrians from a jeep riding along the central street of Hadera in the north of Israel. A street patrol opened retaliation fire and the car lost control, running into a lamp pole. Doctors cannot guarantee the survival of four Israeli victims while four other casualties have incurred very grave wounds. It is the radical Islamic Jihad organisation that has assumed responsibility for this act of terror whose performers arrived in Hadera from the Palestinian town of Jenin on the West Bank. This outrage may affect Israel's decision to withdraw its troops from the A zone on the Jordan's West Bank known to be under control of the Palestinian national administration. The troops were deployed in this area several days ago after the assassination of Israeli minister Rehaavam Zeevi. This special operation was undertaken by the Israeli authorities in order to smash the terrorist structure and arrest the leaders of radical Islamic organisation involved in terrorist activities. The blockade was applied to six Palestinian towns on the West Bank, including Jenin.
