Two of the 22 cruise missiles installed in the Kursk submarine, were extracted from the sub on Monday, the Northern Fleet press service was quoted as saying. The unloaded missiles were in the port silos of the submarine. According to the Staff, the operation is being carried out in normal mode. Works on unloading missiles were launched on Friday. Preliminary examination of the silos revealed that the first starboard silo was depressurised and that there was water inside. When the cover of the first silo was removed, it became clear that missile containers were not damaged.
