Islamic Islamists Seized Airfield In Northern Kashmir Conquered By Pakistan

Students of Islamic schools seized an airfield in the vicinity of Gilgit, Northern Kashmir conquered by Pakistan, the Zahedan Radio reported. The students are determined to hamper the landing of foreign aircraft as a protest against the military operation in Afghanistan. Some sources report that the Karakorum highway linking Pakistan and China, has been lasting for five days. This action is being conducted by the local residents who share anti-American sentiments, and oppose the anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan. In particular, the protesters have blocked several Chinese trucks with humanitarian aid to Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
