Flour Deliveries Arrive In Afghan Port

About four hundred tonnes of flour have arrived as a humanitarian shipment in the Afghan port of Hairaton from the Uzbek port of Termez. They were sent along the Amu Darya river. Spokesman for the World-wide Food Programme Michael Higgins yesterday announced that up to 16,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes would be sent from Termez to neighbouring Afghanistan.
