Taliban Spiritual Leader Threatens To Annihilate America

Mullah Muhammad Omar, spiritual leader of the Taliban radical movement, has said there is a "giant project to annihilate America". In his statement, released on Thursday by the Afghan agency Bahtar, the mullah says that this plan will be carried out in the near future "if Allah so wishes". "Soon we will demolish America, remember my words," the Taliban head emphasised. Speaking of international terrorist Osama bin Laden, Mullah Omar said that "America will never get him alive". He denied rumours about an alleged arrest of bin Laden.
