A cache containing a portable anti-aircraft system and other armaments, was found in Chechnya on December 10. According to the Russian Interior Ministry, the cache was found in the Vedeno region, South-Western Chechnya. It also contained 3 anti-tank rockets, 7 artillery shells, 48 grenade launcher rounds, 12 grenades and approximately 800 rounds of ammunition. Over the past 24 hours, there have been found 20 major caches of weapons and ammunition in Chechnya. Law-enforcement officers have eliminated three fighters. Reportedly, two of them have been killed following an attempt to break through a police checkpoint in a car. In the car, policemen have found 2 kg of TNT, a grenade launcher, 2 mines and 2,650 assault rifle rounds.
