Yasser Arafat Fully Controls The Situation In Palestine, Palestinian Ambassador Says

Yasser Arafat fully controls the situation on the territory of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), PNA ambassador to Moscow Khairi al-Oridi stated. According to the diplomat, Arafat's instructions are being fulfilled in the minutest details. Speaking about existence on the Palestinian territories of such terrorist group as HAMAS and Islamic Jihad the ambassador stressed that these are opposition organisations. Al-Oridi also said that the Palestinian laws should be honoured by all and they prohibit existence of parties openly stating their terrorist orientation. At the same time, the ambassador said that the Israeli side itself is to blame for using "terrorist methods."
