Israeli tanks resumed artillery fire tonight in an east neighbourhood of Jenin on the West Bank, RIA Novosti correspondents report. The Palestinian-based Wafa news agency reports conflagrations and electric supply failures. Ambulances and fire-engines are flocking to the site. Two men have been badly injured--one 70, the other 28 years old. A Palestinian was killed and several got injuries as Israeli helicopters raided the town earlier on the day. A curfew was introduced in several neighbourhoods after Israeli soldiers invaded the town this morning.
