An exhibition entitled Days of Finland will take place in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture at the Russian embassy in Finland on April 28-29 and will be one of the events to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Petrozavodsk. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced by the Ministry of Culture in the Karelia Republic.
An official delegation and figures from Karelian cultural life will participate at the Days of Karelia exhibition. These include a male quartet from the state ensemble of song and dance. There will also be a photography exhibition displaying the work of Siemen Maisterman, an exhibition of Karelian wood engraving by Alexander Kazakov, and a weaving exhibition by Svetlana Basheva. A reciprocal exhibition entitled Days of Finland will be held in Petrozavodsk on September 25-28.
