Seven most infamous Obama lies

The United States is working on a sophisticated technology to lie to people. President Obama, who promised transparent policies, affordable health care and fair prosecution of Wall Street sharks, was caught up in lies. However, yet again, Obama is doing his best to look like the savior of the American nation and the world. This time he plays the role of a superhero, who fights Al-Qaeda. Pravda.Ru has made up the list of Barack Obama's seven most infamous lies during his presidency. 

Lie No. 1

Four years ago, President Obama announced that US military killed Osama bin Laden in his hideout in Pakistan. "A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body." said Obama.

Two days ago, American journalist Seymour Hersh published a book containing  revelations from a senior Pakistani intelligence officer, who said that Pakistani intelligence agencies had detained the terrorist in 2006. Since then, Bin Laden had been staying in the town of Abbottabad under full control of security forces.

Big liars in the White House

In 2010, the CIA paid quite an impressive amount to a Pakistani intelligence officer, who disclosed the location, where Bin Laden was staying. The US and Pakistan, according to Hersh, agreed on the following. Americans kill bin Laden allegedly without the knowledge of an ally. "All this hype about dozens of computers and data storage devices that were allegedly found in the house was a lie," the Pakistani told Hersh. 

Lie No. 2 

In September 2012, after the killing of US ambassador to Benghazi Christopher Stevens and three other diplomats, Obama lied to Americans saying that it was an accident that occurred as a result of "spontaneous" protests of the local population. However, a report from National Intelligence Director James Clapper said that the pogrom of the building of the US diplomatic mission was a deliberate and organized terrorist attack. The US government was aware of that.

Why did the US administration ignore reports from security forces? According to  former senior defense official James A. Lyons, the founder of commission of citizens to investigate the attacks in Benghazi, the attack was organized by Obama himself. The US administration wanted to give an opportunity to rebels affiliated with al-Qaeda and Libyan Muslim Brotherhood to kidnap Stevens to subsequently exchange him for one of the leaders of jihad - the Blind Sheikh, as then Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi asked Obama. 

Something went "wrong", Lyons believes. Another version says that Stevens was killed, because it was him, who was involved in CIA's arms shipments to Islamists. It is quite possible that the ambassador wanted to show Obama's true colors.

Lie No. 3

Obama promised to investigate the role of Wall Street in the collapse of the US financial system in 2008 and punish those responsible. Obama stated that he had close ties with Occupy Wall Street movement. This could be possible, but the president has close ties with Wall Street bankers and speculators, whom he had milked for his electoral needs. The amount of money that Obama received for his campaign was a lot larger than that of any other candidate in the last 20 years.

In October 2011, Obama hired Broderick Johnson, a longtime Wall Street lobbyist as a senior adviser to its new campaign. Johnson had worked as a lobbyist for JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Comcast, Microsoft, and for the oil industry. In 2012, he "raised funds" from big banks and hedge funds - each of them paid 38,000 dollars for the needs of the Obama campaign. No show trials were held in the United States for the "punished bankers."

Lie No. 4

President Obama claimed the NSA has never abused its authority. Recent revelations from the Washington Post say that the NSA is spying on thousands of Americans. "The National Security Agency has broken privacy rules or overstepped its legal authority thousands of times each year since Congress granted the agency broad new powers in 2008, according to an internal audit and other top-secret documents," the newspaper wrote. 

An audit of the NSA from May 2012, counted 2,776 cases of unauthorized collection, storage, access or dissemination of legally protected information in 2011. Most serious incidents involved violations of court orders and unauthorized use of the database of more than 3,000 Americans and green card holders.

Lie No. 5

Obama said that an agreement with Iran on its nuclear program was a major achievement of the White House. However, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on April 9 that the White House was lying. Obama lied when he said that Iran had accepted a detailed and comprehensive nuclear framework agreement, the Iranian leader said.

Iran has never signed the agreement with its numerous concrete numbers and production limitations. All that was a wish-list of Barack Obama and John Kerry, said Khamenei.

Lie No. 6

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren accused the White House of lies related to the agreement on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The partnership currently includes Brunei, New Zealand, Singapore and Chile. When the framework agreement is finalized, the list of participating countries of the trade pact will expand with Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Peru and the United States.

"When people say this trade deal is bad for working families, they don't know what they're talking about," Obama said. "I take that personally. My entire presidency has been about helping working families."

However, the document on the free zone is being developed secretly. How so? - the senator wonders. "The American people should be allowed to weigh in on the facts of the TPP before Members of Congress are asked to voluntarily reduce our ability to amend, shape, or block any trade deal."

Lie No. 7

Most Americans are most dissatisfied with Obama's lies about his health program Obamacare. "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan," said Obama. As a result, all previous health insurance programs were closed, while new ones often do not include prior doctors and good hospitals.

Obamacare also cut the size of the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that one could save from their untaxed salary for medical expenses. At the same time, Obama promised that he would never sign a medical law that would raise taxes. 

How often does Obama lie to Americans on important matters? This is a question that Fox News asked in October 2014. Thirty-seven percent of Americans said that Obama lies most of the time; 24 percent said - "from time to time", 20 percent said - "every other time." Only 15 percent said "never." As a result, 81 percent of Americans said that Obama lies to them on important matters.

Here is what William Safire, an American journalist, an editor with The New York Times, a Pulitzer Prize winner, wrote about the person who has all chances to replace Barack Obama in the White House: "Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady -- a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation -- is a congenital liar," Safire wrote in 1996.
