US gets ready for war with Russia because of Assad

The US does not rule out strikes on the Syrian government troops, ignoring tough stance of Russia on this issue. Authorities of the country though doubt expediency of such step, as Josh Earnest, Press Secretary of the White House Office, claimed. 'Military action against the Assad regime to try to address the situation in Aleppo is unlikely to accomplish the goals that many envisioned now in terms of reducing the violence there. It is much more likely to lead to a bunch of unintended consequences,' Earnest noted. In response to information about the US readiness to attack Bashar al-Assad's troops, the Russian Defence Ministry admitted that such leakage in the Western media may be a prologue to real acts and recommended its 'colleagues in Washington to thoroughly figure out possible consequences'. Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov, official representative of the Russian Defence Ministry, warned the US military authorities that the range of S-300 and S-400 defencive complexes may be a surprise for any unidentified flying object.
