The truth about Israel and Lebanon – Can you handle it?

In a "fascinating" display of "impartial reporting", titled Bullseye: Israeli Terrorist Attacks Slaughter 200, Mr. Bancroft-Hinchey relates to us his version of how the whole situation in Lebanon was instigated by what he calls "a Zionist massacre in June, slaug ht ering Palestinian civilians enjoying themselves on a Gaza Beach".

Of course, the most fascinating thing about this article is that a person calling himself a reporter bases his whole agenda on fiction.

The truth is that the Palestinian Family, was not killed by the IDF. In fact, the UN and other international forces have concluded that the most likely source of the explosion in the area was a mine left by the Hamas.

In fact, Shrapnel removed from two of the bodies was revealed to come from sources not available to the IDF. In addition, had a shell hit the beach, a large crater would have most definitely been formed. No such crater appeared.

Just like in the Jenin Massacre Libel and the Muhammed Al-Dora case, this is another Palestinian cover up story, trying to blame Israel for Palestinian errors.

In fact, evidence shows that the Israeli ship appearing the footage which Mr. Bancroft-Hinchey quotes was actually doctored into the video later by an "impartial" Palestinian reporter.

In further support, international intelligence agencies have stated that Hamas was seen filling the entire area with mines in order to stop Israeli Commando units from entering through the beach.

Obviously, it's not Israel who started this circle of violence.

It also doesn't seem to matter to Mr. Bancroft Hinchey that over 800 missiles have landed on Israeli cities in the last week, including on Haifa , its 3^rd largest city. Are the people there not "innocent"? I'm curious how Mr. Bancroft-Hinchey's country would react in this situation.

But it doesn't matter to Mr. Bancroft-Hinchey. He won't let the facts confuse him.

Mr. Hinchey – Hezbollah is responsible as of today to the deaths of over 800 innocent civilians. It's been involved in a series of kidnapping of innocent westerners throughout the years, a suicide bombing that killed over 200 marines in 1983, the hijacking of TWA flig ht 847 in 1985, the 1992 bombing of the Israeli embassy, and the 1994 bombing of the Jewish Community Center, in Argentina.

The last two resulted in the deaths of over 130 innocent people who had no military involvement whatsoever.

It's a question of moral equivalency. Innocent people are dying – but Israel isn't targeting innocent people on purpose. Hezbollah is, and always has.
