Pakistan has made another airport in the Baluchistan province available for the USAF. This is the third airport put at the US disposal to support the military operation in Afghanistan, according to the major News paper. Authorities, however, have denied this fact. The Dalbandin airport is situated 50 km away from the Afghan border in the zone of the air corridor used by the US aircraft based on ships in the Arabian Sea and on the Diego Garcia military base for raids on Afghanistan. According to Pakistani military experts, this airport is ideal for US aircraft, which might carry out raids on inner regions of Afghanistan. Experts stress that land forces will need air cover at the launch of the operation. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the leaders of Baluchistan religious parties are going to besiege the airport. A similar action was previously carried out on a military base near the Jacobabad town with several dozens of people injured in clashes with police and troops.
