Yuri Biryukov, First Deputy of the Prosecutor-General of Russia, on Wednesday met with representatives of a commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe working on a report on how Russia fulfils the obligations it assumed when it joined the Council of Europe, RIA Novosti was told at the information and public relations department of the Prosecutor-General's Office. Questions discussed included reforms in the prosecutor's bodies. The Russian side gave necessary explanations and provided information of interest to the PACE mission. The European parliamentarians expressed satisfaction with the meeting, it was noted in the Prosecutor-General's Office.
