Honduras: murders in run-up to elections

The latest victim was 45-year-old Angel Pacheco Leon, the right-wing party PN (Partido Nacional, National Party) candidate for a seat in parliament. He was murdered by gunmen in the centre of Nacaome, 130 kilometres from the capital city, Tegucigalpa.
